Defensive tackle was released last year following arrest Aaron Wilson
The Indianapolis Colts cut defensive tackle Ed Johnson today, a transaction that raises eyebrows considering his history of off-field problems.
The Colts cut Johnson last year after he was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.
He rejoined the Colts in May, served a one-game suspension from the league and then started the past four games.
It's unclear what the Colts are doing with the roster spot since they worked out veteran kicker Matt Stover today, but didn't immediately sign him.
