The Indianapolis Colts are upbeat about the status of wide receiver Reggie Wayne.

Wayne has a groin injury, but practiced today and is expected to play against the San Francisco 49ers, barring any setbacks between now and kickoff.

Meanwhile, rookie running back Donald Brown is regarded as doubtful after missing practice again today.

Joseph Addai is scheduled for an increased workload against the 49ers.
