San Diego Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie won't be charged following an alleged assault with a deadly weapon stemming from a champagne bottle striking a man at a bar last month following the Chargers' win over the Denver Broncos.
APAntonio Cromartie won't be charged with a crime.
This resolution was predicted by a legal source with knowledge of the situation in a previous National Football Post report.
Per the report, law enforcement officials didn't discover any evidence that he threw a champagne bottle that hit Kamaldeep Saran.
Cromartie had admitted that the bottle had slipped out of his hand.
It was ultimately determined that there wasn't enough evidence to justify sending the case to prosecutors.
