Miami Dolphins wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. has already been demoted.
Now, he's intent on improving his game enough to get back on the field.
"It was more of a motivation talk," Ginn said regarding his conversations with the coaching staff. "Get better. You have to get better. Do what you do but get better.'
Ginn's workload in practice has been reduced, too.
``It's not the first time I've been through it,' he said. ``All I can do is play the time they ask me to play and make the plays they ask me to make.'
The Dolphins haven't made it clear whether Ginn Jr. will regain his job or not.
The coaches are trying to motivate the former first-round draft pick.
``Urgency,' Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said. ``I've seen that.'
