Roth had been on reserve/non-football injury list Aaron Wilson
The Miami Dolphins activated linebacker Matt Roth from the reserve/non-football injury list.
To make room for Roth, who was inactive for the first six games of the season with a groin injury and an illness, the Dolphins cut fifth-round tight end John Nalbone.
Roth has been at odds with team management over his injury, flunking the team's conditioning test when he arrived at training camp.
Roth returned to practice recently and is apparently now healthy enough to play.
