The Miami Dolphins tried out former Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots linebacker Monty Beisel today, according to a league source.
Originally drafted by the Chiefs out of Kansas State in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL draft, Beisel was re-signed by Kansas City during the offseason before being cut in September.
He also had a previous stint with the Arizona Cardinals.
The Dolphins also tried out defensive end Kareem Brown and running back Tristan Davis.
