The Miami Dolphins checked out a player from north of the border this week.
According to a league source, offensive guard Dimitri Tsoumpas tried out for the Dolphins on Tuesday.
Tsoumpas played this past season for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League.
Tsoumpas was a first-round pick drafted second overall in the 2008 CFL draft after playing collegiately at Weber State.
He was nominated for Most Outstanding Rookie last year.
