Reed has hip, ankle injuries, Suggs recovering from sprained MCL Aaron Wilson
OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed is still expected to start Monday night against the Green Bay Packers despite being hampered this week with ankle and hip injuries.
Defensive coordinator Greg Mattison said today that he expects Reed to be in the lineup.
"We've got to assume for sure Ed will be 100 percent," Mattison said. "That's the way we're looking at that."
Meanwhile, Pro Bowl outside linebacker Terrell Suggs isn't expected to play this week due to a sprained medial collateral ligament.
Suggs said his knee is improving.
"It's coming along," he said.
"It's going to depend on whether he's ready to go," Mattison said. "That's out of my hands."
