OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens cornerback Fabian Washington has torn his left anterior cruciate ligament, according to coach John Harbaugh.
"The one major thing is Fabian Washington It looks like he has an ACL tear," Harbaugh said today. "Maybe the MRI will tell us something different. RIght now, we're proceeding as if he's going to be gone for the season."
Washington confirmed the prognosis on his Twitter account.
"Thanx for all of your support," he wrote. "Yes I do have a torn ACL. But I'll get through this. Go Ravens"
The Ravens are expected to replace Washington with rookie Lardarius Webb.
