The Buffalo Bills have tabbed defensive coordinator Perry Fewell as their interim head coach after firing coach Dick Jauron earlier today.
Bills owner Ralph Wilson Jr. made the announcement tonight.
"Perry Fewell will be our interim head coach," Wilson said in a statement. "Perry has done a great job with our defense and has demonstrated excellent leadership skills as defensive coordinator. Our players and staff have a lot of confidence in him and that is important as we look forward to these next seven games.”
Fewell is scheduled to meet with reporters later tonight.
