Tennessee Titans defensive back cornerback Cortland Finnegan was fined $5,000 by the league office.
Finnegan was punished for tackling San Francisch 49ers running back Frank Gore by his facemask during a 34-27 victory last week, according to the Tennessean.
Finnegan was penalized for a personal foul for the infraction at the time.
The TItans have been heavily fined all season long.

When exactly did every penalty also become a fine? Is there a set schedule for how much fine each penalty will get or is it just completely arbitrary? The NFLPA has to do something about this in the new agreement. It makes me wonder if the league is doing this on purpose to cause an issue that they can use in negotiations to give them more leverage on other issues.
