Wilson: Freeney expected to play

Indianapolis Colts veteran defensive end Dwight Freeney returned to practice on Friday from a knee injury.

He's expected to play this weekend against the San Francisco 49ers.

"I'll be out there," Freeney said. "If I'm practicing on a Friday, definitely I'll be out there."

Freeney was listed as questionable on the injury report.

Although that signifies a 50-50 chance of him playing, the Colts expect him to suit up and start.
