Received $12 million signing bonus, first-year base salary of $800,000 Aaron Wilson
Indianapolis Colts middle linebacker Gary Brackett's five-year deal carries a maximum value of $33 million and includes a $12 million signing bonus, according to a league source.
Brackett, the Colts' defensive captain, will receive an $800,000 base salary in 2010.
He's due the following base salaries: $2 million in 2011, $5 million in 2012 and $6.6 million in 2013 and $6.6 million in 2014.
Brackett wanted to be back with the Colts rather than explore his market value as an unrestricted free agent, and they rewarded him handsomely for that loyalty.
