Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Rashean Mathis, the team's top cover guy, might be sidelined against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
Mathis, who's still in a cast, is recovering from a broken index finger on his left hand.
Mathis told reporters today that he has a screw in his finger and stitches that won't be removed until later this week. Mathis said he doesn't expect to practice.
Scott Starks and Tyron Brackenridge are the leading candidates to start in Mathis' place.
