Jacksonville Jaguars assistant director of college personnel Tim Mingey was honored with a Scout of the Year award during the Texas vs. the Nation Challenge.
Specifically, Mingey won the C.O. Brocato award from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Brocato is the Tennessee Titans' supervisor of college scouting.
“Tim Mingey is without question one of the best scouts in the NFL,” Jaguars general manager Gene Smith said. “Tim is as good of a person as he is a professional, and he sets a high standard for others to follow. He’s highly respected and has developed trusted contacts on college football staffs."

How do you win this award? Whom did he identify in the draft? Just curious.
