The Jacksonville Jaguars placed rookie wide receiver Jarrett Dillard on injured reserve today due to a broken ankle incurred against the New York Jets, the team announced.
Wide receiver Nate Hughes was activated from the practice squad, taking over Dillard's roster spot.
Hughes has caught three passes for 15 yards this season. The former Alcorn State player has a previous stint with the Cleveland Browns.
Drafted in the fifth round out of Rice, Dillard had played in the past seven games and made six receptions for 106 yards.
