The Jacksonville Jaguars signed defensive back Michael Coe off the New York Giants' practice squad today, the team announced.
Coe is a former Indianapolis Colts fifth-round draft pick in the 2007 NFL draft.
Coe had a blocked punt for a safety as a rookie, also recovering a fumble.
He spent last season on injured reserve before being cut and signed to the Giants' practice squad.
The Jaguars also signed running back Allen Patrick to the practice squad.
Patrick is a former Baltimore Ravens seventh-round pick in the 2008 NFL draft who has also had stints with the Cleveland Browns and the Giants.
Patrick played collegiately at Oklahoma, rushing for 1,009 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior.
