The Jacksonville Jaguars signed rookie wide receiver Nate Swift to the practice squad.
Swift was originally signed as a rookie free agent by Denver in April and was cut on September 4. Swift played in 51 games with 29 starts at Nebraska, finishing with a school-record 166 receptions for 2,476 yards and 22 touchdowns.
He finished his career ranked second in school history for receiving yards and touchdowns.
As a senior in 2008, Swift ranked second on the team with 63 receptions for 941 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also returned 23 punts for a 12.9-yard average and one touchdown.
