An angry Maurice Jones-Drew is fed up with what's going on with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In the wake of a 41-0 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Jacksonville Jaguars' star running back criticized the team for its play-calling, offensive line changes and other shortcomings.
Jones-Drew referred to himself as the second highest paid decoy in the NFL behind Reggie Bush.
"I don't like to be embarrassed, so I do get upset about it," Jones-Drew told reporters. "You lead by actions. You can only say so much. You can talk to somebody until you're blue in the face and they're not going to do anything. But if you go out there and show why you're upset and you try to do something to correct your mistakes, then they'll pay attention."
Against Seattle, Jones-Drew was limited to 34 yards on a dozen carries while quarterback David Garrard fumbled twice and was sacked four times.
"I don't know what it is," he said. "We're still trying to figure out what our identity is right now. As soon as we figure that out, I'll gladly be able to let you guys know."
There has been a lot of change on the offensive line throughout the season, too.
"That's a big issue," Jones-Drew said. "How can you get continuity, how can you get chemistry going on when guys are rotating in and out? That doesn't happen.
"It's like ballroom dancing. You have to be able to move one way or another at the same time, fluently, otherwise you're going to step on her toes and she's going to step on yours."
So, what's the answer and what's the goal?
"Respect is all you can gain now," Jones-Drew said. "It's all about the respect. It's not even about anything else. Do they respect us as an offense? That's the question. And right now, no one respects us. We just got blown out. We didn't put up no points.
" Who respects that? What do you think St. Louis is going to come in here and do We have to go back and gain the respect of everybody in this league this week."

With the Jags OL troubles, they had no chance against Seattle's veteran, tight-knit team of offensive lineman. Well, except for All-Pro Walter Jones, who has been out for about a year. And his replacement, starting RT Locklear who slid over to cover for him, but was injured early in the 2nd game of the season. And his LT replacement Frye who was a FA pick-up at the end of pre-season, but then got injured in the first series of the Jags game and is out for the season. Not to mention interior linemen Sims and Spencer who have both missed most of the year. But they did get a guy (Williams) who was out of football a few weeks ago and now starts at LT for Jones/Lock/Frye...
But, yeah, the Jags have them some OL problems.
