After wide receiver Joshua Cribbs was carted off the field, hospitalized and tested for concussion symptoms, the Cleveland Browns have confirmed that Cribbs is doing well.

The team released a statement about Cribbs' condition, reiterating that Cribbs is out of the hospital and tests for a concussion were negative.

The Browns have drawn criticism for having Cribbs on the field for a pointless hook-and-ladder play on the final play of the game, down 16 points.

"Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs was taken to the Cleveland Clinic following last night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens for precautionary testing," the statement said. "Those tests were negative and Josh was subsequently released from the hospital early this morning."
