Wilson: LenDale White was benched for being late

As it turns out, Tennessee Titans running back LenDale White wasn't scratched because of an injury or performance.

According to the Tennessean, White was deactivated after he was late for a Saturday practice session.

White had never missed a game before.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher acknowledged that White was healthy and described the move as a "coach's decision."

After the game, White didn't want to get into the benching: "I don't know. You'll have to ask Jeff. Ask Jeff.'
