Practice squad player was injured in post-practice 'opportunity drill' Aaron Wilson
One day after being lambasted by running back Jamal Lewis for allegedly tiring out the team for games during practice sessions and a practice squad player suffering a season-ending injury during a post-practice "opportunity drill," Cleveland Browns coach Eric Mangini defended his practice routine.
Mangini denied that he's overworking his 1-7 football team.
And he said today that he had a "good conversation" with Lewis, who's a team captain, to discuss the situation.
Mangini emphasized that his practices aren't longer or more physical than what he's done in the past.
Practice squad player Keith Grennan suffered a torn patellar tendon Thursday and is out for at least eight months.

As a leader I have never asked my people to do anything that I wouldn't do. Now, mangini, did you do these drills during "your playing days in college or pro football"? Trick question, huh, tough guy? What a joke this guy is.
