No meeting scheduled for Tequila, district attorney Aaron Wilson
The reality television star who accused San Diego Chargers star linebacker Shawne Merriman of domestic violence has said she plans to meet with the district attorney's office on Friday.
However, a spokesman for the prosecutor's office said that's not the case.
Per the spokesman, no meeting is scheduled and no meeting has taken place.
Tequila has deleted some tweets from her Twitter account today.
One of the deleted posts claimed she would meet with the district attorney.
Merriman was arrested and charged with battery and false imprisonment on Sunday after Tequila alleged that he choked her and threw her to the ground.
Among the updates that Tequila wrote today:
"I will never be a VICTIM of anything. So when someone lays a hand on me then lies. Its on. ..
"Damage control. Blame Tila. Make her look bad. Send it out to the media so they don't believe her! Quick! Cover it up!"
A report from the ABC television affiliate has stated that the incident stems from Tequila's jealous reaction to Merriman reportedly paying attention to two other women during a gathering at his house then inviting her to join them in his bedroom.
