League acknowledges that safety shouldn't have been penalized Aaron Wilson
Kansas City Chiefs safety Jarrad Page got a letter from the NFL, and it wasn't bad news.
The league office admitted that Page shouldn't have been penalized for unnecessary roughness against the New York Giants.
Page was flagged for a helmet to helmet hit when replays showed that he actually just used hs shoulder on a hit on wide receiver Steve Smith to strike him in the chest.
Of course, the note doesn't change anything.
“It doesn’t do us any good now,” Page said.
