Wilson: Nightclub owner says Tila Tequila was intoxicated

According to the owner of the nightclub where San Diego Chargers star linebacker Shawne Merriman hung out with reality TV star Tila Tequila prior to Merriman being arrested on battery and false imprisonment charges, Tequla was drinking before the alleged incident.

APShawne Merriman allegedly committed battery and false imprisonment, according to his girlfriend, Tila Tequila. He has denied the charges.

Tequila, who has accused Merriman of chokin her, has claimed that she wasn't drinking and is allergic to alcohol.

James Brennan, who owns Stingaree nightclub, said that several of his employees informed him that Tequila drank several shots of tequila and sipped a bottle of vodka.

"She wasn't like falling down or anything of that nature, but she was visibly intoxicated," Brennan told the Associated Press. "It sounds like she's allergic to the truth."

Merriman, who practiced today, has denied the charges, emphasizing that he was trying to ensure that Tequila didn't drive while intoxicated.

Meanwhile, Tequila has made some interesting comments on her Twitter page. "Judgment day tomorrow.......GOD BLESS YOU!"

And she implied that Merriman is using steroids in this Tweet: "Steroid use makes people act aggressive....known fact."

Among the other statements she made: "Blue Balls VS Blue Neck. .. Tomorrow....I get to speak. God Bless .. I have a baggage with me loaded with interesting truths inside of it.....I fear nothing and no one. You know that. ..

"God saw everything and God will always know the truth.....Only the truth behind those curtains.... The truth will set you free.....God is with me. .. I am only 93 pounds and 4'ft 11.

"So what else did you have in your house? Does your brother know how to make stuff? like....caffeine and stuff like that? =)"
