Wilson: Ochocinco offer explanation for car loan lawsuit

Wide receiver says defaulted loan wasn't his fault Aaron Wilson

Cincinnai Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has a plausible explanation for why he's the subject of a lawsuit for defaulting on a car loan.

It's not as novel an approach as saying the dog ate my homework, but it makes sense.

According to Ochocinco on his Twitter account, he bought the 2008 Dodge Challenger for a family member. And the unnamed family member failed to keep up with the payments.

Here are a few of Ochocinco's postings on the matter:

"OCNN FAMILY REPORT-- Family+Money= cosigning and puttin things in your name= promises being broken that they'll make payments!! DMNDS"

"imjustsaying-- do not cosign and put your name or anything unless you are positive that they will make payments, it falls back on me! SMH"
"I'm being sued for a vehicle I bought for a family member<---never put cars in your name for anybody! Ever!"

It's a familiar cautionary tale that Ochocinco is sounding. And it's liable to be repeated.
