In the wake of Denver Broncos star wide receiver Brandon Marshall being linked to the Cincinnati Bengals' obvious need at his position, the odds of him coming to Cincinnati were downplayed.

ESPN reported that the Bengals have mulled over making an offer.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Bengals are unlikely to take any action on Marshall other than talking about it internally unless they can't acquire Terrell Owens or Antonio Bryant.

Signing Bryant to an offer sheet would cost the Bengals a first-round pick if the Broncos opted not to match.

The Bengals hold the 21st overall pick of the first round.

You may want to correct the following: "Signing Marshall to an offer sheet..." Bryant is a UFA. Thanks.

Sorry Denver, nobody's going to give you a #1 draft choice. Lets get real. Where's all the takers? Either going to accept a #2 and lower round draft choice and or another player trade or you will have back a disgruntled player. Marshall will just play out his last contract year and then he will be an unrestricted free agent and Denver will get NOTHING. Look what Antwain Boldin went for. A #3 and a #4. Lets be real!

Bvandy, Marshall is an RFA, so the "Signing Marshall to an offer sheet..." is correct. That being said, I really hope the Bengals don't get any of the three receivers mentioned, but Marshall is by far the best of the three. T.O. is on the downside of his career and Bryant has had one good season, not to mention being a serious injury concern.

Jay- People will take your comment seriously when you can actually get players right. Antwain Boldin? More like Anquan Boldin
