The Pittsburgh Steelers won't have safety Troy Polamalu in the lineup Sunday due to a left knee injury that could sideline him next week as well against the Baltimore Ravens.
Polamalu didn't practice all week after injuring a ligament against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Tyrone Carter starts in his place.
Meanwhile, defensive end Travis Kirschke will miss his third game in a row due to a torn left calf muscle.
Kirschke was the replacement for Aaron Smith, who's out for the season with a shoulder injury.
So, Nick Eason will start again in Kirschke's place.
