APTroy Polamalu is recovering from a sprained MCL.
Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu is relieved that his sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee won't require surgery.
Polamalu told reporters today that he'll be out between three to six weeks, which National Football Post reported last week when he got injured against the Tennessee Titans.
"Regarding an injury to the knee, this is the best-case scenario," Polamalu told reporters.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Polamalu wore a brace in the locker room today.
