Former assistant files civil suit against Cable, franchise Aaron Wilson
Former Oakland Raiders defensive assistant Randy Hanson filed a civil lawsuit against Raiders coach Tom Cable and the organization today in Alameda County.
Hanson alleged that Cable assaulted him last summer.
However, the Napa County district attorney declined to press charges against him citing inconsistencies in the assistant's version of events compared to other coaches present at the time.
Now, Hanson is seeking financial compensation.
According to the report, he has alleged assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
In the lawsuit, Hanson alleged that Cable gave Hanson a fractured jaw and broken teeth while also making the claim that Cable threatened Hanson repeatedly.
"I'll kill you," the lawsuit alleges Cable said.
Hanson has been working in the Raiders' personnel department since December.
