The Baltimore Ravens are working out former New York Giants wide receiver and special-teams ace David Tyree today, according to a league source.
Tyree is taking a physical right now, according to a source, a potential precursor to signing him if all goes well at the doctor's office.
Per our source, the workout went well.
Tyree is a former Super Bowl hero who caught a key pass from Eli Manning by crading the football against his helmet.
He's also an accomplished special-teams standout.
Tyree had been battling leg injuries with the Giants and was cut last weekend.
Upon his release, his agent told the National Football Post that the Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Rams were displaying the most interest with Tyree very interested in the Ravens out of that group of teams.
