OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens All-Pro middle linebacker Ray Lewis downplayed the stinger he suffered against the Cleveland Browns.
Lewis collided with defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, returning to the sidelines after missing one play.
However, Lewis practiced today.
"Everything is cool," Lewis said today. “The bottom line is if it’s going to exist, it’s going to exist,” he said. “So, you can sit out five plays or just come back after one. The symptoms, I was going to have the rest of the day anyway. I just dealt with them.”
It's believed that Lewis may have suffered a concussion, too.
Inside linebacker Tavares Gooden said that he incurred a mild concussion, also from running into Ngata, but practiced today and predicted he will play against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Ray-Ray will be okay, he has fought off any and all injuries thus far. It is amazing however how big and strong Haloti is if you ever watch his younger days of playing football and rugby in Hawaii you will certainly understand how anybody can get injured running into him.
