The reason behind Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker's deactivation for a "itinerary rule violation" has been revealed.

According to Florida Times-Union beat writer Michael C. Wright, Sims-Walker missed his bed check because he was engaged in a rendezvous past curfew with a woman.

Wright's source described the situation as "undefeated and untied."

If only the Jaguars could describe their win-loss percentage in a similar manner.

The late Max McGee missed nearly every curfew because of rendezvous with multiple women and gallons of alcohol, including the night before the first Super Bowl. He performed rather well in that one. Sims-Walker is just playing in the wrong decade.

He's the only Jaguar that scored that weekend.
