Chargers cornerback denies throwing bottle Aaron Wilson
In the wake of San Diego Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie drawing the scrutiny of law enforcement for allegedly throwing a champagne bottle and then him saying the bottle slipped, a report has surfaced stating that Cromartie isn't the bottle thrower.
"Before everyone jumps on Cromartie, several sources telling me it wasn't him who threw bottle. Just saying we need to let facts come out," Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune wrote on his Twitter account.
And Cromartie has apologized, although he doesn't say what he's apologizing for.
"I want to apologize to charger nation and my fans. There's sum stuff out abt me that's not true. It will come out. God Bless," Cromartie wrote.
Police are expected to file a report and turn it into the city attorney later today.
