Alabama linebacker sits out of drills Aaron Wilson
Top-ranked Alabama inside linebacker Rolando McClain is sitting out of the drills at the NFL scouting combine due to a hamstring injury.
According to NFL.com, McClain sat out due to a hamstring injury suffered at the Senior Bowl.
Although McClain said he'll run every drill March 10 at his campus Pro Day workout, the instinctive linebacker has had to have two magnetic resonance imaging exams.
The 6-foot-3, 254-pound Crimson Tide standout is regarded as the consensus best inside linebacker available on draft boards.
He has been linked to the Miami Dolphins and the New York Giants' first-round draft picks, respectively.
