New York Jets coach Rex Ryan is angry at the New England Patriots following a late pass from Tom Brady with the game well in hand during the Patriots' 31-14 rout.

The pass was incomplete, but that didn't matter to Ryan..

Ryan wound up calling a timeout with five seconds to go, and could be seen cursing the Patriots on the sidelines.

"It was surprising," Ryan told reporters Monday. "We needed to stop them anyway, so no biggie, but I was surprised and I did feel a little disrespected."

Moss caught five passes for 34 yards and a touchdown in his rematch against cornerback Darrelle Revis. Wes Welker caught 15 passes for 192 yards.

"I looked at it as an opportunity for us," Ryan said. "Throw it up deep; our guy is going to come down with it more than your guy is. If they want to throw it up to Revis, that's great. If they'd have thrown it to Welker again, I might have had a problem with it."

Ryan didn't attribute the attempt to run up the score to Belichick.

"Belichick . . . I don't even know how much he had to do with it more than that might have been something that Brady and Moss wanted to do," Ryan said.

In Ryan's own words..."Boo Hoo Hoo"...

You shouldn't be surprised when someone YOU disrespected all year wants to pour salt in your wound..... What goes around comes around Fat Boy.....

I'm guessing when Tannenbaum hired the guy, he was looking for a Barnum & Bailey type guy to match the hype of the New York market. I disagree with bigparty - I think Ryan would be good, not great in the minor leagues of pro-wrestling.

The Patriots do that shyt to everybody. They are rat-bastards, and I hate them. They have no humility whatsoever. They are bullies, and because of all the bullying they've been doing, they are a pretty HATED team. You say, "Oh, everybody LOVES the PATRIOTS! Are you kidding me???"

Wrong.

Hatriots abound. They are everywhere. Tom Brady's dimples and crooked smile and big white teeth don't impress anyone. There are at least 100 D-linemen out there who want to give him a fist implant right in the kisser, and there are at least a million regular Joe people (like me) who would love to give him a boot in the ass. The only guys I even respect on their team are Jerod Mayo and Wes Welker. There really is no denying their talent, and they are not show-offs.

They have no humility whatsoever.

Emotional, and completely incorrect. When was the last time that you heard anyone on the Patriots badmouthing another team or player? The answer is never. Contrast that the constant crap that comes out of the Jets, Dolphins, etc, etc.

Players don't ease up in games for a reason: they have performance incentives. It's not their job to make, for example, the Titans feel better about themselves.

If I pay on average $100 to go see a professional football team, you bet your ass that I want to see them "show-off."

morganpops, your comment is quite possibly the dumbest post I've ever seen. Talk about stupid third grade antics. And let me guess, your response will be "I know you are but what am I?"

Regarding the comments about how the Patriots never talk trash about other teams, it is a well enforced rule by Belichick that playes are not allowed to engage in trash talking through the media. That is the only reason why Randy Moss is not making headlines on a regular basis the way he used to....it will cost him money and playing time. I respect the way New England runs their organization. They maintain stability through good managment and they are good at evaluating talent. But I have to agree that Tom Brady is a terd. And for the record, I think his wife is not that attractive. The guy could have almost any woman he wans and he picks some skinny ass runway model. Tom Brady, you are a douchebag sir.
