Pittsburgh kicker was arrested for disorderly conduct. Aaron Wilson
In the wake of his arrest on disorderly conduct, Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Jeff Reed is disputing the charges.
Reed's agent said that Reed will contest the citations issued to him after being arrested outside a Pittsburgh bar.
The Steelers aren't commenting while they gather more information. And the league is looking into the matter.

Also, Steelers tight end Matt Spaeth was cited for disorderly conduct after a police officer said he saw him urinating in a parking lot.
"We're contesting it," Don Henderson, Reed's agent, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "It involved somebody else on the team, he got out to try to help and basically got attacked by the police. He was with his parents. He got out and tried to help and evidently they didn't want to hear that. It was somebody else trying to do something and Jeff ended up getting slammed in the middle."
According to police, Spaeth was being issued a citation when Reed got out of his car andput up his fists "into a fighter's stance."
Reed allegedly resisted arrest and seemed o be intoxicated, according to police.
He was charged with simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was released at the scene.
Earlier this year, Reed pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after police said he damaged a paper towel dispenser and harassed employees at a Sheetz convenience store.
