The Pittsburgh Steelers placed wide receiver Limas Sweed on the reserve/non-football injury list late last season with an unspecified illness.

Now that the season is over, they still won't discuss the details of what ailed Sweed.

It's unclear what happened, and team officials have declined to elaborate on the reasons behind Sweed's status remaining under wraps.

"That's something that will be addressed at the proper time and now's not the proper time," Steelers director of football operations Kevin Colbert said during a recent news conference.

Drafted in the second round of the 2008 NFL draft out of the University of Texas, Sweed has caught just seven passes for 69 yards in two NFL seasons.
