Get your Skyline chili, ready.
Veteran free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens has landed in Cincinnati for his visit with Bengals team officials, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
"Right now this is my first stop and we'll see how it goes from there," Owens told the Enquirer after his flight got into town.
Owens is having dinner tonight with the coaching staff.
The 36-year-old expressed confidence that he has a lot more football left in him.
"I definitely feel like I can play 2-3 more years," Owens said. "I keep myself in great shape and that in itself speaks for itself."
Owens is thankful that Chad Ochocinco has been lobbying for him to be signed. And quarterback Carson Palmer recently said he thinks he can handle a flamboyant, outspoken wide receiver duo.
"I saw him on Saturday," Owens said. "His work is already done. He put the bug out there. So right now we have to solidify some things. .. Chad and I both can alleviate a lot of pressure off each other and we can make Carson's job easier."
