In the latest indication that Chad Ochocinco's campaign to get free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens signed by the Cincinnati Bengals isn't gaining any momentum, the AFC North franchise isn't expected to pursue Owens at this time.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Owens won't be the receiver-needy Bengals' first option in free agency.

Per the report, quarterback Carson Palmer would have to be on board with signing Owens, who has a history of clashing with his quarterbacks.

Between Ochocinco and Owens, that could be a really noisy huddle.

Owens is an unrestricted free agent who isn't expected to return to the Buffalo Bills after one unproductive season played under a $6.5 million contract.
