Former Vikings quarterback tries out in Houston Aaron Wilson
Cut from the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad earlier this season, former USC quarterback John David Booty tried out for the Houston Texans today.
Booty became expendable when Brett Favre arrived in Minnesota as he already ranked behind Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels.
The Texans also tried out quarterback Bobbie Reid, wide receivers Chris Davis, Dallas Baker, Willie Reid and Patrick Carter and tight ends Dezmond Sherrod and Carson Butler.
No player was immediately signed to a contract.
