Hurting at tight end with Owen Daniels out for the season and James Casey sidelined following arthroscopic knee surgery, the Houston Texans auditioned four tight ends today in search of potential reinforcements.
According to a league source, the Texans tried out tight ends Tory Humphrey, Joe Klopfenstein, Tony Curtis and Martrez Milner.
None of the players were immediately signed, though.
When it comes to the Texans' hard luck at the tight end position, it's best to be prepared with an emergency list and expect the worst.
