The Tennessee Titans didn't keep wide receiver Chris Davis on the roster for very long.
Davis, who was cut during the preseason following a DUI arrest, was cut Friday after signing with the team earlier this week, according to the Tennessean.
Per the report, former Jacksonville Jaguars player Alvin Pearman is expected to be the primary kick returner against the San Francisco 49ers.
With the Titans' depth on the offensive line thinned by injuries, Fernando Velasco is expected to be promoted from the practice squad with Davis no longer on the roster.
