INDIANAPOLIS -- The Tennessee Titans won't be retaining veteran defensive end Jevon Kearse.
According to the Tennessean, there have been no discussions about keeping Kearse.
Titans coach Jeff Fisher made it clear that was the case on Saturday.
Kearse is a former NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year who registered 47 1/2 sacks during his first five NFL seasons.
"He did a great job for us over the years,' Fisher said. "He came in and was prepared to play and ready to play and played hard. But in his case we're going to commit to the younger players.'
Does Kearse have more football left in him?
"I think you are going to have to ask him," Fisher said. "I think he may be at a crossroads right now. I wouldn't call it sad. I don't think he has any regrets.'
