One day after trying out former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Alvin Pearman, the Tennessee Titans signed him to provide a boost to their special teams.
And the Titans placed kick returner Mark Jones on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury.
Pearman could play Sunday against his former teammates.
"It's going to be a 4-6 week injury,' agent Brian Levy told the Tennessean. "He's disappointed. He thought it could help there and he did for a while.'
Pearman has a career 8.6 punt return average.
