Speculation about Ravens and Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe Aaron Wilson
OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- It’s regarded as a long shot that the Ravens will be involved in any serious trade discussions prior to Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.
However, Ravens coach John Harbaugh didn’t completely rule it out.
The Ravens have been the subject of speculation that they might deal a second-round draft pick and a fifth-round selection for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, but there’s nothing concrete to those rumors.
Like much of the trade discussions around the NFL, it's just an interesting conversation for fans and media at this juncture.
“It’s so hard to anticipate activity,” Harbaugh said. “We work on a lot of things. I know Ozzie Newsome and Eric DeCosta and Vince Newsome and those guys turn over every stone in every way they can to try to make our team better.
“I’m sure they’re looking at a lot of things right now. There are possibilities, but it’s so hard to make a trade in the NFL. You just don’t see it very often. It’s very rare.”
