Defensive end thinks he'll be moving on Aaron Wilson
Veteran defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch doesn't anticipate playing for the Tennessee Titans next season.
The pending unrestricted free agent doesn't think he'll be re-signed.
“There’s a better chance than not this is it,’’ Vanden Bosch told the Tennessean today at the Pro Bowl. “The Titans have given me no indication that they would like to re-sign me so mentally and physically I have been preparing like I am going to free agency. I have been working out hard and maybe it is a time for a fresh start somewhere else.’’
Vanden Bosch had a so-so season this past year with only three sacks.
Informed early in the season that a potential long-term deal was in the offing, Vanden Bosch has heard nothing.
“It doesn’t make me sad at all," he said. "I think I’ve had a great 5 years. I’ve had a great relationship with the coaches, the fans, it couldn’t have gone better in Tennessee. But sometimes it is time to move on and better for both sides to go to a different place."
