The presumption that the winless Tennessee Titans quit trying during a 59-0 rout against the New England Patriots has angered several players.
"It pisses me off," running back LenDale White said. "I know all the people on my team work hard. I know that everybody does when we go out there for game day. I know everybody out there was fighting to get a win. Everybody went out there and prepared to get a victory.

"Nobody quit on us. We gave effort. Believe me, we did what we could. We tried very hard, but it is what it is."
And Titans coach Jeff Fisher said he's not thinking about what other people are thinking, or saying.
"I'm not concerned what people think outside this building," Fisher said. "I know what goes on here. I'm not concerned about your opinion or anybody else's opinion outside this building," Fisher said.
The Titans have lost their past eight games dating back to last season.
So, criticism goes with the territory.
"Most people that are talking haven't played a down in their life, haven't played a game in their life," tight end Bo Scaife said. "So we block all that stuff out."
Added linebacker Keith Bulluck: "I wouldn't say anyone quit. It was cold, it was snowing, we were down however many points. You can't quit. I didn't see anyone quit, and I watched the film."
At the end of the day, though, the record remains the same for last year's AFC South division champs: 0-6.
