Tight end released after just one game. Terry McCormick
The New England Patriots have released veteran tight end Kellen Winslow after just one game with the team.
Winslow played in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week and had one catch for 12 yards. He was signed by the club on Sept. 19 to help out with the loss of Aaron Hernandez to injury.
Winslow has previously played for the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was in training camp with Seattle this summer.
