A drunken 36-year-old Wisconsin woman is behind bars after she allegedly choked her 11-year-old daughter on Sunday after she was angered by the Green Bay Packers’ loss.
The Post-Crescent of Appleton reported the woman was charged in Outagame County Court with felony child abuse, bail jumping and disorderly conduct. Per the police report, the mother choked the girl with enough force that she could not breathe. The newspaper is withholding the name of the woman to protect the identity of the girl.
According to the report, the woman’s husband said she also threw her dinner on the floor, broke a lamp and attempted to punch him in the face all because the Packers’ bid for a perfect season was ended.
Hopefully, this woman gets the kind of help it sounds like she needs.
